IMPROVE FLOWERING AND FRUIT SET

In apple cultivation, if the floral buttons are not well developed and open irregularly, there is the risk of having gradual maturation of the fruits and of not reaching the optimum caliber at harvest. Abiotic stresses during flower development can also compromise fruit set, increasing fruit drop.

Calcium is the structural element of the cellular walls of the fruits. Deficiencies or difficulty in absorbing this element during the cycle determine the appearance of bitter pit on the fruits. This physiological disorder is not curable and manifests itself in the last stages of growth or even after harvest. Affected fruits are damaged and not marketable, with significant losses in the final yield of the orchard.
